Inductrix Battery Upgrades

New: Inductrix Battery Upgrade for LOS
One obvious way to increase flight time is to increase battery capacity. If you add additional weight to the airframe, such as a frame stiffener, you may want to look at battery options. This is tricky because if you go too large you will hurt performance.

New: Thunder Power 220mAh 1S 3.7V FPV Adrenaline 50C LiPo Battery
The Thunder Power 220mAh 1S 3.7V FPV Adrenaline 50C LiPo Battery is one incredible battery! With a hopped-up Blade Inductrix, flight times were a full minute longer than a leading competitor’s 220mAh 45C battery! Further testing with FPV Inductrix, report soon.

Inductrix Motor Upgrades

New: Inductrix Motor Upgrade for LOS
The stock motors are adequate for the Inductrix in stock trim. When you start adding extra weight like a frame stiffener and larger battery, you’ll start noticing the lack of thrust. The more weight you add to the airframe, the slower the stock motors will feel.

Inductrix Prop Options

New: Inductrix Prop Options for FPV
When converting an Inductrix for FPV flying, changing out the props could increase flight times. For this article I tested 2, 3 and 4-bladed props on a converted Inductrix.

Even though the Blade Inductrix has prop guards, you will occasionally bend a prop. The prop guards will flex enough to allow contact on hard hits. There’s only so many times you can straighten these little props.

Inductrix Frame Stiffeners

RMRC Inductrix CF Motor Reinforcement Plate
RMRC currently produces the lightest Inductrix frame brace at half the weight of any other frame brace on the market today! In addition to being extremely lightweight, the RMRC frame brace has a built-in battery “keeper” which keeps the battery in place while flying.

Mckune Inductrix Frame Stiffener
Without question the biggest issue with the Inductrix is its extremely weak airframe. More specifically, where the struts are molded to the motormount and ducts. This is what I did to strengthen the frame and eliminate breaking. More for LOS flying.

Inductrix Battery Charging

New: Thunder Power 4-Port 1S 3.7V LiPo Battery Charger
Probably most known for high-end RC batteries, Thunder Power also offers the TP103CQ 4-Port 1S 3.7V AC/DC LiPo Battery Charger for the world of ultra-micros. Also featuring Thunder Power 220mAh 1S 3.7V FPV Adrenaline 50C LiPo Batteries.

New: ISDT Q6 Plus Smart Charger
The included 300mA USB 1S LiPo battery charger is okay if you want to charge one battery, fly a few minutes, and then wait 15-20 minutes for another battery to charge. However, there’s no way to discharge, store or monitor condition. Here’s a great option to charge multiple 1S LiPo batteries to fuel your micro quad addiction.

RMRC 1S Voltage Checker
The RMRC 1S Voltage Checker is a very small stand-alone LiPo battery voltmeter that accurately measures down to 2.79V. Voltage is displayed on a relatively large and bright 3-digit blue LED display. This is perfect for use with the stock Inductrix batteries.
